About the resources

The Atmosphere, Climate & Environment Information Programme, supported by the Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) have produced a series of information and teaching resources for schools, colleges and libraries, which deal with mankind's impact on the atmospheric environment. The resource topics available through this website include acid rain, air quality, global climate change (or global warming), ozone depletion and other sustainability issues (energy, transport and waste), which are suitable for Key Stages 3 and 4 of the National Curriculum, as well as A-level and beyond.
